FrequentLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How does the laser show work? How will it work at the race track?
A: There are two types of laser shows. Many are familiar with graphic shows that are popular at planetariums or even Stone Mountain.
This will be different. This is a beam show meaning that the audience will watch laser beams synchronized to various Christmas and holiday songs beams projected overhead. You will face the laser projectors!

Q: What should we bring?
A: You may bring your own food, drinks, thermos, and coolers.
THERE WILL BE NO CONCESSIONS SOLD OF ANY KIND!

We recommend you bring the following to enhance your experience:
* FM Radio (to listen to the show)
* Folding chairs (no lounge chairs)
* Glow Sticks
* Blankets, jackets, etc.
* BYOHC -- Bring Your Own Hot Chocolate

Q: Where do we park?
A: We encourage you to arrive 30 minutes before your session starts. Do not arrive much earlier or you will just be waiting in your car or outside.
If you buy a drive-in ticket, your vehicle will be guided onto the track. You will be blocked in until the end of your show.
If you buy a lawn seat, you will park in the track parking lot and walk onto the track.

Q: The session I want is sold out. What should I do so I don't miss anything?
A: All of the drive-in holiday laser shows are identical. You can get tickets to any of them and not miss anything.

Q: Will this run longer than the 5 scheduled days?
A: If ticket sales are high, we will add additional nights during the week leading up to Thanksgiving.

Q: Why are there no concessions being sold?
A: It is vital that we move and turn vehicles on time to ensure all sessions stay on time. This is why we encourage you to bring your own food and rinks.

Q: Why can't drive-in vehicles leave early?
A: There is no way to park the cars for the show without cars being blocked in by one anther.

Q: I see lots of lasers going into the sky. What about airplanes? Is this safe?
A: Excellent question. Safety is very important. The FAA will be notified of this show in advance and send a letter of non-objection (approval) .

Q: Why is this so early in the holiday season?
A: This is a new idea. Emerald Owl Productions already has other shows booked in Pittsburgh, PA and other parts of North Carolina (Wilson & Plymouth). In an effort to ensure a high quality event, we will run the show on the Crystal Coast before our staff and equipment leave town for other events. Also, the weather will be a bit warmer!
